Milo Safety

Milo is AI, not a person, therapist, emergency service, or real-time human monitor.

If you need support now

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States, call or text 988, or visit the 988 Lifeline. If someone may be hurting or controlling you, and it is safe to do so, the U.S. National Domestic Violence Hotline can help: call 800-799-7233 or text START to 88788.

Teens, parents, and guardians

Milo is for ages 13 and up, and users aged 13 to 17 should use it with a parent or guardian’s permission. If you are under 18 and something feels unsafe or overwhelming, reach out to a parent, guardian, or another adult you trust, as well as the services above. A parent or guardian with a question or concern about a teen’s account can contact melzoogle@gmail.com.

Limits of automated safeguards

Milo may use automated checks to reduce unsafe responses. These checks can miss or misunderstand a concern and are not a clinical assessment, diagnosis, age verification, or guarantee of safety. Milo cannot contact emergency services for you. Do not wait for Milo or support email if you need urgent help.

Reporting

Use an in-app report control when available, or contact melzoogle@gmail.com. Reports are not an emergency channel and do not guarantee an immediate reply.
